Storage Advice

Rush Munro's Ice Cream and Sorbet is made with loving care and 100% natural ingredients.

Throughout distribution and storage, ice cream should be kept at a minimum of -18 d.Celsius.
Our products will last up to a year if kept frozen and in an air tight container provided the storage temperature is consistent.  All ice cream will eventually "crystallize" as the water particles melt.  This will occur quickly if the temperature is too warm or the freezer temperature fluctuates.

As Rush Munro's uses real fruit in its ice cream and as real fruit contains a high percentage of water, you will find that the real bits of fruit in your ice cream are naturally icy.  This does not mean that your freezer temperature is incorrect.

Although ice cream should be stored at a very cold temperature, it is best enjoyed at around -12 d.Celsius.  So be patient and let your ice cream have a moment or two of "relaxing" prior to indulging!  That way you will experience the full flavour of your Rush Munro's Ice Cream.
